Social Business Creation Competition is an international training program organized by Yunus Centre HEC Montreal under the management of HEC Montreal’s Social Impact Hub, Pôle IDEOS, to promote social business. The program is supported by HEC Montreal’s Creativity and Innovation Hub, Mosaic. In 2018, Social Business Creation Competition admitted 53 teams consisting of 171 people from 31 reputable universities around. Of these, 25 teams are selected to compete in the final round in Montreal. Over the course of competition from February to September, the contestants benefit from HEC Montreal’s training both online and in Montreal besides their university professors’ mentorship. The teams will make final pitches in Montreal on September 17, 2018, to win several prizes worth in aggregate CAD 57500.
